Zebra EM45 Enterprise Mobile (NEW)

The Zebra EM45 Enterprise Mobile combines the power of a Zebra enterprise device with the sleek, ergonomic feel of a consumer smartphone. In Zebra’s slimmest form factor yet, it delivers 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, a 50 MP camera, AI-capable processing, and all-day battery life — built for field sales, drivers, store managers, healthcare, hospitality, and transportation and logistics teams.

Supplied as a NEW device with a 2-year warranty, the Zebra EM45 is a true enterprise tool: drop-, tumble-, and water-tested to IP68, with a 6.7-inch 120Hz Full HD+ display, glove-capable touch, three programmable buttons, and biometric security. As a corporate-owned personally-enabled (COPE) device, it keeps enterprise data secure while protecting user privacy, and runs on Zebra DNA for simple deployment and management.

The Zebra EM45 is available in two configurations: the standard model, and the EM45 RFID model with a built-in short-range UHF RFID reader for instantly finding items and tracking inventory, parcels, baggage, and medical equipment — without a separate reader. Choose the configuration that matches your workflow.

Key Features Of The Zebra EM45

  • Slim, smartphone-style enterprise design – The Zebra EM45 wraps enterprise-ready durability and features into a lightweight, ergonomic form factor that workers find familiar and comfortable to use all day.
  • Optional built-in UHF RFID – The EM45 RFID model integrates a short-range UHF RFID reader (up to 1.2 m range, 20 tags per second, EU 865–868 MHz), letting workers find items and track inventory, parcels, baggage, and equipment without carrying a separate RFID reader.
  • 50 MP camera with OIS – A 50 MP rear HDR camera with Optical Image Stabilization captures detailed photos and 4K video, with automatic lens-dirt alerts, quality prompts, and privacy face-blurring. An 8 MP front camera enables video calls, and integrated software captures barcodes regardless of symbology or condition.
  • AI-capable processing – A Qualcomm 5430 platform with a dedicated NPU powers on-device AI — including small language models for translation and transcription, AI vision for shelves and labels, and generative AI assistants.
  • 6.7-inch 120Hz display – The large Full HD+ display with a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate is responsive and easy to read in any lighting, with water-droplet rejection, an oleophobic coating, and glove support for field use.
  • 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity – The latest wireless connections — 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3 — keep work moving whether staff are inside the facility or out in the field, with dual SIM (Nano SIM + eSIM) support.
  • All-day fast-charging battery – The 4,750 mAh battery delivers up to 25 hours of use and fast charges from zero to 50% in 30 minutes, keeping workers powered through long shifts.
  • Advanced biometrics and COPE security – On-device fingerprint and facial recognition, WPA3 Enterprise encryption, and dual-profile separation make the Zebra EM45 an ideal corporate-owned, personally-enabled device that keeps enterprise data secure and personal content private.
  • Workstation on demand – With Zebra Workstation Connect, the Zebra EM45 docks into a cradle to launch a full desktop interface for data-intensive tasks, removing the need to buy and manage separate PCs.
  • Three programmable buttons – Two side buttons and one top button can be mapped to the most-used functions — scanning, push-to-talk, or camera — for fast, one-press access.

Key Benefits Of The Zebra EM45

One device for communication, capture, and AI

The Zebra EM45 combines voice, messaging, a high-resolution camera, barcode capture, optional RFID, and on-device AI in a single pocketable device. That reduces the number of tools workers carry and simplifies the enterprise device fleet.

Built to last in enterprise conditions

Unlike a consumer smartphone, the Zebra EM45 is drop-, tumble-, and water-tested to IP68 and built for years of service. Combined with a service-replaceable battery, that delivers an enterprise-grade return on investment well beyond a typical phone lifecycle.

RFID without the extra hardware

The EM45 RFID model brings short-range UHF RFID into the same slim device, so workers can check and find inventory, parcels, baggage, and medical equipment in seconds. This removes the cost and complexity of managing a separate RFID reader.

Future-ready with on-device AI

With a dedicated NPU, the Zebra EM45 is ready for emerging AI workflows — from real-time translation and transcription to AI vision for shelf and label analysis — helping organizations unlock new ways of working as applications evolve.

Simple to deploy, secure, and manage

Zebra DNA tools — including Zero-Touch provisioning, StageNow, Device Tracker, and LifeGuard for Android — let IT deploy, secure, and manage the Zebra EM45 at scale on a common enterprise platform, reducing complexity across mixed fleets.

Ideal Use Cases

  • Retail & Store Operations – Inventory management, assisted selling, and in-store communication, with optional RFID for fast stock counts and item finding.
  • Transport, Logistics & Field Service – Parcel tracking, proof of delivery, maintenance and inspections, equipment identification, and work-order management.
  • Hospitality & Events – Event management, access control, lead capture, cashless payment, and team collaboration.
  • Airlines & Transportation – Passenger ticketing, check-in, boarding, gate-side bag check, and manifest verification.
  • Healthcare – Patient tracking, medical equipment tracking, and at-home care, with optional RFID for equipment identification.
