Micro Nordic, a European supplier of rugged laptops, rugged tablets and barcode scanners to business customers in more than 40 countries since 2004, has added ProGlove wearable barcode scanners to its range. The company supplies rugged laptops and scanners from Panasonic, Getac, Dell, Zebra, Honeywell and ProGlove, including the Panasonic Toughbook FZ-55 and Toughbook 40, the Dell Latitude 7330 Rugged and Latitude 5420 Rugged, and the Getac X600. Stock is held in Europe and ships globally within one to three days.
Micro Nordic supplies customers in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, the Netherlands and across the wider European market, serving organisations in logistics and transportation, manufacturing and automotive, construction, defence, field service and utilities, and pharmaceutical and healthcare.
ProGlove wearable scanners are worn on the hand rather than held, which keeps both hands free during picking, packing and inspection work. The format is used in warehouse and production environments where scan volume is high and handling time matters.
Alongside the ProGlove addition, Micro Nordic has increased warehouse stock across its range, including refurbished rugged laptops and end-of-life rugged devices. End-of-life models remain in demand among organisations running standardised fleets, where replacing a single failed unit with an identical model avoids requalifying software, accessories and docking infrastructure across an entire deployment. A warehouse running two hundred identical scanners does not want the two hundred and first to be a different model.
Micro Nordic’s range includes Panasonic Toughbook laptops and tablets and Getac rugged devices, supplied new and refurbished.
